The Qianhai court has set up two trial teams on IPR and has established an IPR case trial mechanism of “a professional judge + professional people’s assessors from Hong Kong + experts on IPR + a professional technical investigation officer.”
While further promoting the efficient distribution of complex and simple cases, the Qianhai court adopts the measure of temporarily restraining order according to the law to stop infringements in an efficient and effective way.
Currently, the proportion of IPR cases that employ summary procedures accounts for 85.7 percent of the total. The court has also partnered with professional institutions including IPR arbitration centers to enhance its IPR dispute settlement platform. (Chen Xiaochun)
